This hadith speaks about attending funerals and how it can be rewarding. It was narrated by Abu Hurairah that the Messenger of Allah said that whoever attends a funeral until the prayer is offered will have one Qirat and whoever attends until the body is buried will have two Qirats. When asked what these two qirats were, he replied that they are like two great mountains. This hadith teaches us to attend funerals as it can bring us rewards from Allah in this world and in the hereafter. It also encourages us to show respect for those who have passed away by attending their funerals as an act of kindness towards them.
