The Transmission of Knowledge

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the transmission of knowledge from one person to another.

It was narrated from Sufyan, that 'Abdah said: "I heard Suwaid bin Ghaflah (narrate it) from Abu Dharr and Abu Ad-Darda'."
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُوَيْدَ بْنَ غَفَلَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ، وَأَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ، مَوْقُوفًا
