The Prophet's Sacrifice and Ihram

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to send a Hadi (sacrifice) from Medina and Aisha would twist the garlands for it, and he did not keep away from any of the things which a Muhrim (person in a state of Ihram) keeps away from.

Narrated 'Aisha: Allah's Messenger used to send the Hadi from Medina and I used to twist the garlands for his Hadi and he did not keep away from any of these things which a Muhrim keeps away from.

QUICK LESSONS:
Follow all Islamic rituals even if they are difficult or inconvenient; Strive to do good deeds no matter how small they may be.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of sacrifice in Islam. It is narrated by Aisha that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to send a Hadi or sacrifice from Medina every year. He also did not keep away from any of the things which a Muhrim or person in a state of Ihram keeps away from. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to follow all Islamic rituals even if they are difficult or inconvenient. Furthermore, this hadith also teaches us that we should always strive to do good deeds even if they are small like twisting garlands for sacrifices as Aisha did.
