EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith, narrated by Hudhaifah, speaks to the importance of using a siwak when praying at night. A siwak is a small stick or twig that is used for cleaning and freshening one's mouth and teeth. It has been recommended by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that it should be used before prayer as it helps to purify one's mouth and make it ready for prayer. This hadith emphasizes the importance of being mindful and taking care in preparing oneself for prayer, even if it is something as simple as using a siwak. It teaches us to take our worship seriously and strive to make our prayers more meaningful through small acts such as this one.
