EXPLANATIONS:
According to the hadith narrated by Hudhaifah, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) had a nightly ritual of brushing his teeth with a siwak before praying tahajjud. Tahajjud is an optional prayer that is performed after midnight and before dawn. It is considered one of the most important prayers in Islam as it brings many rewards from Allah. A siwak is a small twig or stick that Muslims use for cleaning their teeth and freshening their breath. This hadith shows us how important it was for the Prophet Muhammad to maintain good hygiene even during his nightly prayers and encourages us to do the same when we pray tahajjud or any other prayer.
