SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed for rain by turning to face the Qiblah, turning his cloak around and raising his hands.

It was narrated from 'Abbad bin Tamim, from his paternal uncle, that: He saw the Messenger of Allah , when he prayed for rain, turn to face the Qiblah, turning his cloak around and raising his hands.

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray with humility & sincerity

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident of the Prophet Muhammad's prayer for rain. He turned to face the Qiblah, which is the direction Muslims turn towards when praying. He also wrapped his cloak around himself and raised his hands in supplication. This shows us that when we pray for something we should do so with humility and sincerity. We should also remember that Allah is all-powerful and can grant us our requests if it is beneficial to us in this life or the hereafter. Furthermore, this hadith teaches us that even though we may not always get what we ask for immediately, Allah will answer our prayers at some point if it is good for us.
