Sahih al-Bukhari 1676 (Book 25, Hadith 156) #1607
Invoking Allah at Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram

SUMMARY: This hadith explains how Abdullah bin Umar used to send the weak members of his family early to Mina, so they could invoke Allah as much as possible before the Imam started from Al-Muzdalifa.

Narrated Salim: 'Abdullah bin 'Umar used to send the weak among his family early to Mina. So they used to depart from Al-Mash'ar Al-Haram (that is Al-Muzdalifa) at night (when the moon had set) and invoke Allah as much as they could, and then they would return (to Mina) before the Imam had started from Al- Muzdalifa to Mina. So some of them would reach Mina at the time of the Fajr prayer and some of them would come later. When they reached Mina they would throw pebbles on the Jamra (Jamrat-Al- 'Aqaba) Ibn 'Umar used to say, "Allah's Messenger gave the permission to them (weak people) to do so".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how Abdullah bin Umar used to send the weaker members of his family early to Mina, so they could invoke Allah as much as possible before the Imam started from Al-Muzdalifa. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ gave them permission to do this, which shows us that it is important for us to pray and supplicate even when we are weak or unable. It also teaches us that we should always seek permission before doing something and respect those who are weaker than us. We can learn from this hadith that prayer is an important part of our faith and should be done with sincerity and dedication. We should also remember that no matter what our circumstances may be, we can still turn towards Allah in prayer and supplication.
