SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) used to lead his companions in prayer during their journey from Madinah to Makkah and stayed there for ten days.

It was narrated from Yahya bin Abi Ishaq that : Anas bin Malik said: " We went out with the Messenger of Allah from Al-Madinah to Makkah and he used to lead us in praying two rak'ahs until we came back". I (Yahya) said: "Did he stay in Makkah?" He (Anas) said: "Yes, we stayed there for ten days".

QUICK LESSONS:
Pray regularly even when travelling

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's practice of leading his companions in prayer during their journey from Medina to Mecca. It was narrated by Yahya bin Abi Ishaq that Anas bin Malik said that they traveled with the Messenger of Allah and he used to lead them in praying two rak'ahs until they returned back. They stayed there for ten days. This hadith teaches us the importance of praying regularly even when we are on a journey or travelling, as it was a practice of our beloved Prophet Muhammad PBUH. We should also remember that we should not forget our prayers even when we are busy with other activities or tasks, as it is an obligation upon us as Muslims and one of the five pillars of Islam.
