Sunan an-Nasai 1414 (Book 14, Hadith 51) #16025
The Prophet's Generosity and Remembrance

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was a person of few words, he would recite a lot of remembrance, make his prayers long and his khutbah short, and he would not refrain from helping the poor and widows.

'Abdullah bin Abi Awfa said: "The Messenger of Allah used to recite a great deal of remembrance, engage little in idle talk, make the prayer long and keep the khutbah short, and he would not refrain from walking with a widow or poor person and tending to their needs".
