This hadith is about the importance of prayer, specifically on Fridays. It is narrated by 'Amr bin Dinar and Jabir bin 'Abdullah that a man came to the Prophet while he was giving a sermon from the minbar on a Friday. The man asked if he had prayed two rak’ahs, which are units of prayer consisting of standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting in between each one. When the man said no, the Prophet told him to pray them right away. This shows us how important it is for Muslims to pray regularly and especially on Fridays when we gather together for communal prayers in mosques around the world.
