Prostration of the Seven Body Parts

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad was commanded to prostrate on seven body parts.

It was narrated from Ibn 'Abbas that : The Messenger of Allah said: "I have been commanded to prostrate on seven, and not to tuck up my hair nor my garment: the forehead, the nose, the hands, the knees and the feet".
أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، وَيُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الأَعْلَى، وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ، قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ، - وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ - عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ طَاوُسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ ‏ "‏ أُمِرْتُ أَنْ أَسْجُدَ عَلَى سَبْعَةٍ - لاَ أَكُفَّ الشَّعْرَ وَلاَ الثِّيَابَ - الْجَبْهَةِ وَالأَنْفِ وَالْيَدَيْنِ وَالرُّكْبَتَيْنِ وَالْقَدَمَيْنِ

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad was commanded by Allah to perform sujud, or prostration, on seven body parts. These body parts are the forehead, nose, hands, knees and feet. This is an important part of Islamic prayer and worship as it is a way for Muslims to show their humility and submission to Allah. It also serves as a reminder that all humans are equal in front of God regardless of their physical attributes or social status. Additionally, this hadith teaches us that we should take care in our appearance when performing salat; we should not tuck up our hair or clothing so that we can focus solely on worshipping Allah without any distractions.
