How the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Prayed

SUMMARY: The hadith is about how the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) prayed and only raised his hands once.

It was narrated from Abdullah that he said: "Shall I not show you how the Messenger of Allah prayed?" So he prayed, and he only raised his hands once.
أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ الْمَرْوَزِيُّ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ كُلَيْبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ أَلاَ أُصَلِّي بِكُمْ صَلاَةَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ فَصَلَّى فَلَمْ يَرْفَعْ يَدَيْهِ إِلاَّ مَرَّةً وَاحِدَةً

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates how the beloved Messenger of Allah, Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) prayed. He only raised his hands once during prayer. This teaches us that we should be mindful of our prayers and not to overdo it with extra movements or words. We should also strive to emulate the example of our beloved prophet in all aspects of life, including prayer. It is important to remember that even though we may have different ways of praying, we should always keep in mind that it is not about quantity but quality when it comes to worshiping Allah Almighty.
