Praying with the Prophet Muhammad

SUMMARY: The narrator Al Bara liked to be on the right side of the Prophet Muhammad when they prayed together.

It was narrated that Al Bara said: "When we prayed behind the Messenger of Allah I liked to be to his right".
أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، عَنْ مِسْعَرٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْبَرَاءِ، عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ، قَالَ كُنَّا إِذَا صَلَّيْنَا خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ أَحْبَبْتُ أَنْ أَكُونَ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the importance of praying with and near the Prophet Muhammad. It was narrated by Al Bara that he liked to be on the right side of him when they prayed together. This shows us how much respect and reverence we should have for our beloved prophet and how important it is to pray in his presence or near him if possible. We can also learn from this hadith that we should strive to be close to our religious leaders so that we can benefit from their knowledge and wisdom. Additionally, this hadith teaches us about positioning ourselves in prayer as it is recommended for men to stand on one side while women stand on another during congregational prayer.
