SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to scent himself before and after performing the Tawaf-al-ifada.

Narrated 'Aisha: (the wife of the Prophet (pbuh) I used to scent Allah's Messenger when he wanted to assume Ihram and also on finishing Ihram before the Tawaf round the Ka'ba (Tawaf-al-ifada).

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive to be clean and presentable when worshipping Allah so that our acts of worship can be accepted by Him.

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by 'Aisha talks about how the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) used to scent himself before and after performing the ritual of Tawaf-al-ifada. This is a ritual that is performed during Hajj or Umrah, which are two pilgrimages that Muslims make to Makkah in Saudi Arabia. During this ritual, Muslims walk around the Ka'ba seven times in a counterclockwise direction while reciting prayers. It is important for Muslims to be clean and presentable when they perform this ritual as it is an act of worship towards Allah. Therefore, it was customary for the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to scent himself before and after performing this ritual as a sign of respect towards Allah. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive to be clean and presentable when we are worshipping Allah so that our acts of worship can be accepted by Him.
