Sunan an-Nasai 162 (Book 1, Hadith 163) #14769
Drowsiness During Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) advised people to stop praying if they feel drowsy, so that they do not unknowingly supplicate against themselves.

It was narrated that Aishah said: "The Messenger of Allah said: 'If a man feels drowsy when he is praying, let him stop, lest he supplicate against himself without realizing'."

QUICK LESSONS:
Stop your prayer if you feel drowsy and take a break before continuing.

EXPLANATIONS:
The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us that when we are praying, it is important to stay focused and alert. If we start feeling drowsy or tired, it is best to stop and take a break before continuing. This is because if we continue while feeling drowsy, our words may not be sincere and we may end up supplicating against ourselves without realizing it. It is important for us to remember this advice when praying so that our prayers are accepted by Allah SWT.
