Perform ritual ablution or Wuzū' before each prayer.

This hadith highlights the importance of performing ritual ablution or wudhu before each prayer. It is narrated from 'Amr bin 'Amir that Anas mentioned that the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) was brought a small vessel of water and he performed wudhu. When asked if he did this for every prayer, Anas replied yes. He then went on to explain how his companions used to pray all the prayers with one wudhu unless they had done something that would break their wudhu such as going to the bathroom or passing wind. This shows us how important it is to be clean when we are praying and how we should take care not to do anything which will break our state of purity before we pray.
