Sahih al-Bukhari 1502 (Book 24, Hadith 102) #1441
The Prophet's (ﷺ) Dual Role

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) was performing the custom of Tahnik for a newborn child while also branding camels for Zakat.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: I took 'Abdullah bin Abu Talha to Allah's Messenger to perform Tahnik for him. (Tahnik was a custom among the Muslims that whenever a child was born they used to take it to the Prophet who would chew a piece of date and put a part of its juice in the child's mouth). I saw the Prophet and he had an instrument for branding in his hands and was branding the camels of Zakat.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith narrates an incident in which Anas bin Malik took Abdullah bin Abu Talha to the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to perform the custom of Tahnik. This is a practice among Muslims where when a baby is born they take it to the Prophet ﷺ who would chew a piece of date and put some of its juice in the baby’s mouth. At this time, the Prophet ﷺ was also branding camels for Zakat. This hadith shows us that even though he was busy with other important tasks such as collecting and distributing charity money from people who could afford it, he still found time to perform this small but meaningful act for his followers. It teaches us that we should always make time for our loved ones no matter how busy we are with our own tasks and responsibilities.
