EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks to the power of supplication or du'a. It was narrated by Ibn Abi Laili and Ali ibn Abi Talib that Allah's Messenger said a certain supplication which Ali never abandoned, not even on the night of Siffin. The night of Siffin was a battle between two Muslim armies during the caliphate period, so this shows how important this supplications was to him that he did not forget it even in such a difficult situation. This hadith teaches us that we should always remember to make du'a as it is an important part of our faith and can help us through difficult times.
