Supplications for Prayer and Home

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) teaching Abu Bakr Siddiq a supplication to make in his prayer and house.

This hadith has been transmitted on the authority of 'Amr b. al-'As that Abu Bakr Siddiq said to Allah's Messenger Allah's Messenger, teach me a supplication which I should make in my prayer and in my house. The rest of the hadith is the same except with this variation that he said: Much wrong (Zulman Kathira).
وَحَدَّثَنِيهِ أَبُو الطَّاهِرِ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي رَجُلٌ، سَمَّاهُ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنَ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْخَيْرِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، يَقُولُ إِنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ الصِّدِّيقَ قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ عَلِّمْنِي يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ دُعَاءً أَدْعُو بِهِ فِي صَلاَتِي وَفِي بَيْتِي ‏.‏ ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ بِمِثْلِ حَدِيثِ اللَّيْثِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ ‏ "‏ ظُلْمًا كَثِيرًا

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad teaching Abu Bakr Siddiq a supplication to make in his prayer and house. The Prophet taught him to say “Much wrong” when he was making his supplications. This phrase serves as a reminder that we should be aware of our wrongdoings and strive to do better in order to please Allah SWT. It also serves as an encouragement for us to repent for our sins, ask forgiveness from Allah SWT, and strive towards righteousness so that we can be closer with Him. We should also remember this phrase when we are praying or at home so that it can serve as a reminder of our purpose on this earth - which is ultimately pleasing Allah SWT through good deeds and avoiding wrongdoing whenever possible.
