QUICK LESSONS:
Spend generously in causes related to Allah .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward for spending in the cause of Allah, and the punishment for being miserly. It was narrated by Abu Huraira that Prophet Muhammad said, “Every day two angels come down from Heaven and one of them says, 'O Allah! Compensate every person who spends in Your Cause,' and the other angel says, 'O Allah! Destroy every miser.'” This hadith teaches us that we should be generous with our wealth as it will be rewarded by God. On the other hand, if we are too stingy with our money then God will punish us for it. We should remember this when deciding how to use our resources wisely so that we can benefit both ourselves and others around us.
