Rewards of Charity

SUMMARY: Charity given by a woman from her house meals will be rewarded for her, her husband and the storekeeper.

Narrated 'Aisha: The Prophet said, "When a woman gives in charity from her house meals in Allah's Cause without spoiling her husband's property, she will get a reward for it, and her husband will also get the reward for his earnings and the storekeeper will get a reward likewise".
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أَخْبَرَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ، عَنْ شَقِيقٍ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ قَالَ ‏ "‏ إِذَا أَنْفَقَتِ الْمَرْأَةُ مِنْ طَعَامِ بَيْتِهَا غَيْرَ مُفْسِدَةٍ فَلَهَا أَجْرُهَا، وَلِلزَّوْجِ بِمَا اكْتَسَبَ، وَلِلْخَازِنِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the rewards of giving in charity from one's house meals without spoiling one's property. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said that when a woman gives in charity from her house meals, she will get a reward for it, and so will her husband for his earnings and the storekeeper who stores it. This hadith teaches us that even small acts of kindness can be rewarded if done with good intentions. It also encourages us to give in charity as much as we can without compromising our own financial stability or that of our family members'.
