Responding to the Call of Allah and His Messenger

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of responding to the call of Allah and His Messenger, even in times of difficulty.

Hisham reported on the authority of his father ('Urwa b. Zubair) that A'isha said: BY Allah, both fathers of yours are amongst those who have been men. tioned in this verse:" Those who responded to the call of Allah and the Messenger after the misfortune had fallen upon them".
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، وَعَبْدَةُ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ قَالَتْ لِي عَائِشَةُ أَبَوَاكَ وَاللَّهِ مِنَ الَّذِينَ اسْتَجَابُوا لِلَّهِ وَالرَّسُولِ مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا أَصَابَهُمُ الْقَرْحُ

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about how important it is to respond to the call of Allah and His messenger even when faced with difficult times. It was narrated by Hisham who reported on the authority of his father ('Urwa b. Zubair) that A'isha said that both her fathers were amongst those who responded to this call during difficult times as mentioned in a verse from Quran. This hadith teaches us that we should always be obedient towards our Creator and follow His commands no matter what situation we are in or how hard it may seem at first glance. We should also strive to spread this message among others so they too can benefit from its teachings and become closer to their Lord through obedience and faithfulness.
