EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith teaches us that when we are greeted by people of other faiths, we should respond in kind and show respect for their beliefs. It is important to remember that even though we may have different beliefs, it is still important to be polite and respectful towards one another. We can do this by responding with a similar greeting when someone offers us salutations. This hadith also encourages interfaith dialogue and understanding between different religious communities as it shows that even though our beliefs may differ, we can still show respect for one another through simple acts such as exchanging greetings.
