Offer greetings upon meeting each other; accept invitations; give advice; say “Yarhamuk Allah”; visit them if they fall ill; follow their bier upon death.

This hadith talks about the rights that Muslims have over each other. It starts by mentioning that there are six rights that one Muslim has over another. These include offering greetings or salutations upon meeting each other, accepting invitations to feasts or gatherings, giving advice if asked for it, saying “Yarhamuk Allah” which means “may God have mercy on you” if someone sneezes and says “all praise is due to God” , visiting them if they fall ill and following their bier or funeral procession upon death. This hadith teaches us the importance of being kind and considerate towards our fellow Muslims as well as showing respect for those who have passed away.
