This hadith explains that when a call for prayer is made, Satan takes to his heels so he cannot hear it and tries to interfere with the person's thoughts during prayer. It is important to remember that we must be mindful of our prayers and not let our minds wander or be distracted by anything else. If one forgets how many rak'at they have prayed, they should perform two prostrations of Sahu while sitting in order to make up for any missed prayers. This hadith also serves as a reminder that we must always be aware of the presence of evil forces such as Satan who are constantly trying to lead us astray from doing good deeds and worshipping Allah properly.
