Performing Prostrations After Zuhr Prayer

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) got up after the second rak'a of the Zuhr prayer without sitting in between and performed two prostrations before finishing the prayer with Taslim.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin Buhaina: Allah's Messenger got up after the second rak'a of the Zuhr prayer without sitting in between (the second and the third rak'at). When he finished the prayer he performed two prostrations (of Sahu) and then finished the prayer with Taslim.

This hadith teaches us that it is important to perform two prostrations after zuhr prayer as part of our worship to Allah SWT.
