QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for honesty and truthfulness in our words and actions

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about a couple who were asked by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ to invoke a curse on each other in order to prove their truthfulness. The Prophet ﷺ wanted them to do this so that he could be sure of the truth of what they said. After they invoked the curse, he then separated them from each other. This hadith teaches us that we should always strive for honesty and truthfulness in our words and actions, as it is important for us to be truthful even when it may not be easy or comfortable for us. We should also remember that separation can sometimes be necessary if two people are not able to live together peacefully or if one person has been dishonest or untruthful with another person.
