QUICK LESSONS:
Show your spouse love & respect in whatever way you can .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the dower that Prophet Muhammad gave to his wives. A dower is a gift given by a husband to his wife at the time of marriage as a sign of love and respect. In this case, it was twelve Uqiyyahs and one Nash which amounts to five hundred Dirhams. This shows us how much love and respect Prophet Muhammad had for his wives, as he gave them such an expensive gift even though he himself did not have much wealth or money at that time. It also teaches us that we should always show our spouses love and respect in whatever way we can, whether it be through gifts or kind words or gestures.
