Reciting a Verse

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the recitation of a verse by Jarir, but it is not known if Abdullah also recited it.

This hadith has been narrated on the authority of Jarir with the same chain of transmitters and he also recited this (above-mentioned verse) to us, but he did not say that 'Abdullah recited it.
وَحَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ ‏.‏ مِثْلَهُ وَقَالَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ عَلَيْنَا هَذِهِ الآيَةَ ‏.‏ وَلَمْ يَقُلْ قَرَأَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ
