Sahih Muslim 1336a (Book 15, Hadith 457) #10392
Performing Hajj as a Child

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) met some Muslims on a journey and was asked if a child who had been taken to perform Hajj would be credited with having performed it. He replied in the affirmative and said that the woman would also receive a reward.

Ibn Abbas reported that Allah's Apostle met some riders at al-Rauha and asked who they were. They replied that they were Muslims. They said: Who art thou? He said: (I am) Messenger of Allah. A woman (then) lifted up a boy to him and said: Would this child be credited with having performed the Hajj? Thereupon he said: Yes, and you will have a reward.
