Generosity and Kindness in Islam

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) taught us to be generous and kind to others.

Abu Ayyub al-Ansari reported (through another chain of transmitters): I heard Allah's Messenger saying like this.
وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، أَخُو يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو أَيُّوبَ الأَنْصَارِيُّ، - رضى الله عنه - قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ يَقُولُ ‏.‏ بِمِثْلِهِ
