Invoking Allah for Rain

SUMMARY: The Prophet (ﷺ) prayed to Allah for rain and it rained after he turned his cloak inside out.

Narrated 'Abbad bin Tamim: that his uncle (who was one of the companions of the Prophet) had told him, "The Prophet went out with the people to invoke Allah for rain for them. He stood up and invoked Allah for rain, then faced the Qibla and turned his cloak (inside out) and it rained".

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the Prophet Muhammad's prayer for rain. He went out with the people and stood up to pray to Allah for rain. After he finished praying, he faced the direction of the Kaaba in Mecca, known as the Qibla, and turned his cloak inside out. Then it began to rain. This hadith teaches us that we should always turn to Allah in prayer when we need help or guidance in our lives. We should also have faith that if we ask sincerely from Him, He will answer our prayers and provide us with what we need.
