This hadith is about making up for missed fasts in Islam. It is narrated by Ibn Buraida, Allah be pleased with him, on the authority of his father that a woman came to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). She asked him how she can make up for a missed fast and he told her to fast one month consecutively. This hadith teaches us that if we miss any obligatory fasting days due to any reason then we should make them up as soon as possible by fasting one month consecutively or spreading out our missed days over multiple months until they are all made up.
