QUICK LESSONS:
Prioritize your religious obligations over other activities, Prepare for prayer before entering mosques etc..

EXPLANATIONS:
On Fridays, Muslims are encouraged to attend congregational prayers at their local mosques. This hadith highlights this importance of prayer by narrating an incident where a man entered a mosque while the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was delivering his sermon and was asked if he had prayed yet. When he replied in the negative, The Prophet ﷺ instructed him to pray two rak’at immediately. This shows that prayer is so important that it should not be delayed even for listening to sermons or lectures about Islam. It also teaches us that we should always be prepared for prayer and not wait until we enter a mosque before doing so as it may be too late then. Furthermore, this hadith encourages us to prioritize our religious obligations over other activities such as attending lectures or sermons about Islam which are also important but come after fulfilling our religious duties such as praying on time.
