Praying While Travelling

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the importance of praying while travelling.

This hadith has been narrated by Shu'ba with the same chain of transmitters but no mention has been made of Mina, but they (the narrators) only said: He prayed while travelling.
وَحَدَّثَنَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبٍ، حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ، ح وَحَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يَقُولاَ فِي الْحَدِيثِ بِمِنًى ‏.‏ وَلَكِنْ قَالاَ صَلَّى فِي السَّفَرِ

This hadith emphasizes the importance of prayer while travelling. It is narrated by Shu'ba that one should pray even when they are on a journey. Praying while travelling is an obligation and it should not be neglected or forgotten. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ also taught us that we should always strive to make our prayers meaningful and sincere in order for them to be accepted by Allah SWT.
