Conveying the Message of Allah

SUMMARY: This hadith is about conveying the message of Allah and not concealing it.

Narrated 'Aisha: Whoever tells you that the Prophet concealed something of the Divine Inspiration, do not believe him, for Allah said: 'O Apostle Muhammad! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do it not, then you have not conveyed His Message'. (5:67)
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا كَتَمَ شَيْئًا وَقَالَ مُحَمَّدٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَامِرٍ الْعَقَدِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ مَنْ حَدَّثَكَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ كَتَمَ شَيْئًا مِنَ الْوَحْىِ، فَلاَ تُصَدِّقْهُ، إِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى يَقُولُ ‏{‏يَا أَيُّهَا الرَّسُولُ بَلِّغْ مَا أُنْزِلَ إِلَيْكَ مِنْ رَبِّكَ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَفْعَلْ فَمَا بَلَّغْتَ رِسَالَتَهُ‏}‏

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by 'Aisha and it talks about conveying the message of Allah. It states that if someone tells you that Prophet Muhammad concealed something from the divine inspiration, do not believe them as Allah said in Quran 5:67 "O Apostle Muhammad! Proclaim (the Message) which has been sent down to you from your Lord, and if you do it not, then you have not conveyed His Message." This hadith teaches us to always convey the message of Allah without any hesitation or fear. We should never conceal any part of what we are asked to convey by our Lord. We should be brave enough to spread His words without any fear or doubt in our hearts.
