EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is narrated by Ibn 'Umar and it teaches us that it is not permissible to swear by one's father. Instead, we should only swear by Allah. This hadith emphasizes the importance of respecting our fathers and also reminds us that we must always put our trust in God alone. We must remember that only He has the power to make things happen, so swearing in His name will be more meaningful than swearing in anyone else's name. Furthermore, this hadith also serves as a reminder for us to be mindful of our words when speaking or making promises as we are accountable for them before God on the Day of Judgment.
