Sahih al-Bukhari 7036, 7037 (Book 91, Hadith 51) #6762
The Superiority of Muslims

SUMMARY: This hadith is about the superiority of Muslims over other nations and how Allah's Messenger ﷺ was given the treasures of the world in a dream.

Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger said, "We (Muslims) are the last (to come) but (will be) the foremost (on the Day of Resurrection)". Allah's Messenger further said, ''While sleeping, I was given the treasures of the world and two golden bangles were put in my hands, but I felt much annoyed, and those two bangles distressed me very much, but I was inspired that I should blow them off, so I blew them and they flew away. Then I interpreted that those two bangles were the liars between whom I was (ie, the one of San'a' and the one of Yamama).

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks about the superiority of Muslims over other nations. It is narrated by Abu Huraira that Allah's Messenger said that "We are the last to come but will be foremost on the Day of Resurrection". In a dream he was given treasures from all around the world and two golden bangles were put in his hands which made him feel annoyed. He was then inspired to blow them off and they flew away. He interpreted this as those two bangles being liars between whom he was. This hadith teaches us that even though we may be last among people now, we will be first on Judgment Day if we stay true to our faith and beliefs. It also teaches us that dreams can have interpretations which can help guide us in life if we pay attention to them carefully.
