Seeking the Night of Qadr in Ramadan

SUMMARY: The Prophet ﷺ advised people to seek the Night of Qadr in the last seven days of Ramadan.

Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Some people were shown the Night of Qadr as being in the last seven days (of the month of Ramadan). The Prophet said, "Seek it in the last seven days (of Ramadan).
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّ أُنَاسًا، أُرُوا لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ، وَأَنَّ أُنَاسًا أُرُوا أَنَّهَا فِي الْعَشْرِ الأَوَاخِرِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ‏ "‏ الْتَمِسُوهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الأَوَاخِرِ

EXPLANATIONS:
The hadith narrated by Ibn 'Umar states that some people were shown that the Night of Qadr is in the last seven days of Ramadan. The Prophet Muhammad then advised them to seek it during those days. This hadith teaches us that we should strive to find and take advantage of opportunities, especially during special times such as Ramadan, as they may bring great rewards and blessings from Allah SWT. We should also be mindful and aware when seeking these opportunities so we can make use out of them when they come our way.
