EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith talks about the prohibition of Mut'a marriage and eating donkey's meat by Allah's Messenger. Mut'a marriage is a temporary marriage that was practiced in pre-Islamic Arabia but was later prohibited on the Day of the battle of Khaibar. Similarly, eating donkey's meat was also prohibited by Allah's Messenger. Some people argued that if one marries temporarily through a tricky way then his/her marriage would be illegal while others said that although it is valid but its condition is illegal. This hadith teaches us to follow the teachings and instructions given by Allah’s messenger as they are for our own benefit and well-being in this world as well as in hereafter.
