Sahih al-Bukhari 6782 (Book 86, Hadith 11) #6524
The Unbeliever's Sin

SUMMARY: A person who commits adultery or steals is not a believer at the time of committing the sin.

Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: The Prophet said, "When (a person) an adulterer commits illegal sexual intercourse then he is not a believer at the time he is doing it; and when somebody steals, then he is not a believer at the time he is stealing".

QUICK LESSONS:
Remain faithful & avoid committing any kind of sin

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith by Ibn 'Abbas explains that when a person commits either adultery or stealing, they are not considered believers at that moment. This means that even if someone is a Muslim and believes in Allah and His Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) but still commits these sins then they are not considered believers while doing so. It is important to remember this because it shows how serious these sins are in Islam and how much one should strive to stay away from them. Furthermore, it also serves as a reminder for those who have committed such sins to repent and seek forgiveness from Allah for their actions.

The hadith also teaches us about the importance of faith in our lives as Muslims; we must always strive to remain true believers in order to be successful both here on earth and in the hereafter. Additionally, it serves as an example of how our actions can affect our faith; if we commit certain sins then we will no longer be considered believers until we repent for them and ask for forgiveness from Allah. Therefore, this hadith serves as an important reminder for us all to stay away from any kind of sinning so that we may remain true believers throughout our lives.
