Sahih al-Bukhari 65 (Book 3, Hadith 7) #65
Sealing Letters with the Prophet's Name

SUMMARY: The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) had an idea of writing a letter and was told that it would not be read unless it was sealed. He then got a silver ring made with his name engraved on it.

Narrated Anas bin Malik: Once the Prophet wrote a letter or had an idea of writing a letter. The Prophet was told that they (rulers) would not read letters unless they were sealed. So the Prophet got a silver ring made with "Muhammad Allah's Messenger " engraved on it. As if I were just observing its white glitter in the hand of the Prophet.

QUICK LESSONS:
Take initiative in solving problems & achieving goals , Make sure your work is recognized for its quality & authenticity .

EXPLANATIONS:
In this hadith, narrated by Anas bin Malik, we learn about the importance of sealing letters. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ wanted to write a letter but was told that rulers would not read letters unless they were sealed. To solve this problem, he got a silver ring made with his name engraved on it so that when he wrote letters they could be easily identified as coming from him and thus accepted by rulers. This teaches us the importance of having our own identity and making sure our work is recognized for its quality and authenticity. It also shows us how important communication is in order to get things done properly and efficiently. We can also learn from this hadith about the value of taking initiative in order to solve problems or achieve goals; instead of waiting for someone else to do something, we should take action ourselves if we want something done right away or if no one else is willing to help us out. Finally, this hadith reminds us that even small details can make all the difference when trying to accomplish something important; in this case, having a seal on his letters allowed them to be accepted by rulers which enabled him to communicate effectively with them without any issues arising due to lack of authentication or recognition.
