QUICK LESSONS:
Make vows seriously & follow them through . Be honest & trustworthy . Keep your promises .

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the power of making a vow or pledge to Allah. It teaches us that when we make a promise to Allah, we must keep it and remain obedient to Him. If we make a vow that goes against His commands, then we should not follow through with it. This hadith reminds us that our words have power and that if we make promises, even if they are made in jest, they should be taken seriously and followed through with. We must remember that our actions have consequences and so it is important for us to think carefully before making any kind of commitment or promise.

The Prophet Muhammad also taught us the importance of being honest in all our dealings with others as well as ourselves; this includes keeping our promises no matter how small they may seem at the time. He said “Whoever makes a promise must fulfill it” which shows how important it is for us to keep our word once given. By doing so, not only will we gain the pleasure of Allah but also earn respect from those around us who can trust in what we say and do.
