Keep your promises even if it is difficult or inconvenient; understand your limits of capability; seek forgiveness when mistakes are made; do not take on more than you can handle as Allah knows what is best for you; be merciful towards others who make mistakes while trying their best to keep their promises.

In this hadith, narrated by Anas ibn Malik, the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) took an oath to abstain from his wives for one month. However, due to a sprain in his foot he was unable to fulfill this oath and stayed in an upper room for twenty-nine days instead. This hadith teaches us the importance of keeping our promises and fulfilling our obligations even if it is difficult or inconvenient. It also shows us that we should not take on more than we can handle as Allah knows what is best for us and will not burden us with more than we can bear. Furthermore, it teaches us that Allah's mercy is infinite and He will forgive any mistakes or shortcomings that we may have made while trying our best to keep our promises.
