Offer a sacrifice as an act of worship & devotion to God while remembering Him through prayer & other acts of devotion

In this hadith, narrated by Jundub ibn Junadah, the Prophet Muhammad instructed Muslims to slaughter their sacrifices in the name of Allah. This is a ritual that is performed during Eid al-Adha, which is one of two major Islamic holidays.
