Perfection is Rare

SUMMARY: People are rarely perfect and it is difficult to find someone who is suitable for a task.

Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Umar: I heard Allah's Messenger saying, "People are just like camels, out of one hundred, one can hardly find a single camel suitable to ride".

QUICK LESSONS:
Strive for excellence in whatever you do.

EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the difficulty of finding someone suitable for a task. It compares people to camels, saying that out of one hundred camels, only one would be suitable to ride. This means that it can be hard to find someone who has all the qualities necessary for a job or task. The hadith teaches us that perfection is rare and we should not expect too much from people as they are human and make mistakes. We should also strive to do our best in whatever we do, as this will help us become more successful in life.
