EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith speaks of the mercy of Allah and how those who trust Him will be rewarded. It is narrated by Ibn 'Abbas that the Prophet Muhammad said that seventy thousand people of his followers will enter paradise without being held accountable for their actions. These people are those who do not practice Ar-Ruqya, which is a form of healing using Quranic verses or prayers; they also do not believe in superstitions or bad omens; instead they put their trust in Allah. This hadith teaches us to have faith and trust in God no matter what happens, as He is always merciful and forgiving. We should strive to be among those who are rewarded with paradise without having to face accountability for our actions on earth.
