EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about showing mercy while travelling. It is narrated by Anas bin Malik that once the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was on one of his journeys and the driver of the camels started chanting to let them go faster. The Prophet ﷺ asked him to take care and drive slowly with glass vessels as they are fragile items. He also showed mercy towards him by saying “Waihaka” which means “May Allah be Merciful to you” in Arabic. This hadith teaches us that we should always show mercy even when we are travelling or doing any other task in our lives. We should also be careful while handling fragile items like glass vessels as they can break easily if not handled properly.
