Seek advice from elders and religious scholars when naming children; Be humble enought o accept their advices even if it does not please you at first; Respect for religious scholars; Follow what is taught by prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) .

This hadith is about the importance of naming children according to the advice of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. In this hadith, a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and told him that he wanted to name his son Al-Qasim, but people were not pleased with it. The Prophet ﷺ then advised him to name his son Abdur Rahman instead. This hadith teaches us that we should always seek advice from our elders and religious scholars when it comes to naming our children as they have more knowledge and experience in this matter than us. It also teaches us that we should be humble enough to accept their advice even if it does not please us at first, as they are giving it for our own benefit in the long run.
