EXPLANATIONS:
This hadith is about the reward for loving Allah and His Messenger. It was narrated by Anas bin Malik, who was a companion of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He said that a man asked the Prophet ﷺ when the Day of Judgement would come, to which he replied “What have you prepared for it?” The man said he hadn’t done much in terms of prayer, fasting or charity but he loved Allah and His Messenger. The Prophet ﷺ then told him that he would be with those whom he loves in the afterlife. This hadith teaches us that if we love God and his messenger, we will be rewarded by being able to spend eternity with them in paradise. We should strive to show our love for God through our actions such as prayer, fasting and charity so that we can receive this reward from Him.
